Miranda is well known nationally most notably through being for many years part of Show of Hands. And she comes from Spalding! Jim is known for his membership of the bands Devil's Interval and Mawkin:Causley as well as for his solo work - six times nominated for Singer of the Year at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Together they have an instinctive musical understanding as anyone who saw their impromptu show at Holbeach last Christmas will remember.

New start time

We are experimenting with slightly different timings for the Club night at SHC. Floor spots will start at 7.45 and the guests will be on stage at 8.30. The evening will end soon after 10.30.

This is in response to requests from some audience members - your feedback will be very welcome.

Ann Smith

Some sad news - one of the great supporters of the club over many years, Ann Smith, has passed away. She and her husband Tony have been regular attenders even up until very recently. Her cheerfulness and enthusiasm despite many years of poor health have been an inspiration. Ann's funeral will be at 1pm on Monday 16th Nov at Surfleet crematorium.
